Equipment
Ready for any job
We have the tools to get the job done efficiently and safely. In addition to our robust heavy machinery fleet, we’ve custom-built several specialized pieces of equipment tailored specifically to meet the unique demands of our work.
Gregerson Custom Grain Vacs
Gregerson Salvage takes pride in our custom-built hi-rail vacs, some of the largest in the nation. These powerful machines are designed for efficient grain recovery, even in the most challenging conditions. Our versatile constant-flow truck vacs are fully self-contained and can be set up quickly, allowing us to respond swiftly to emergency situations. All of our vac trucks are equipped with hi-rail gear, making them adaptable for use in both railroads and grain elevators, ensuring seamless grain recovery and transport across a wide range of environments.
Grain screening equipment
Our fleet of custom-built screening equipment does more than just size material—it’s also designed to remove burning debris from grain, making it essential for fire recovery situations. This advanced screening process ensures that even heavily compromised grain is salvaged, cleaned, and restored to a high-quality state. With our specialized equipment, we can efficiently separate debris and contaminants, protecting your valuable grain.
Grain handling equipment
Our grain handling equipment is designed for speed, efficiency, and safety. With a fleet of wheel loaders equipped with 9.5 cubic yard high-tip grain buckets and excavators fitted with front shovel grain buckets, we can handle even the largest recovery jobs. By working in tandem, our wheel loaders and excavators have the capacity to reclaim grain piles at a rate of over 30,000 bushels per hour. This equipment ensures quick and precise grain recovery, minimizing downtime and preserving grain quality.
Magnetizing equipment
Our custom-built grain sorting magnets are designed to efficiently remove metal contaminants from grain at rates exceeding 10,000 bushels per hour. This powerful equipment is essential in situations where foreign metal particles may have infiltrated the grain, such as after structural collapses or explosions. By ensuring that your grain is free from metallic debris, we help protect its quality and maintain safety standards during recovery operations.
Bin Badger
Gregerson Salvage has developed the Bin Badger, a versatile line of attachments specifically designed to aid in the removal of DDG, soybean meal, and small grains. These tools are engineered to fit into small openings and extricate nearly any material, all while keeping the operator safely inside the cab of one of our three JCB 560-80 Agrihandlers. The combination of the agile JCB carriers and our powerful attachments provides the perfect balance of stability and hydraulic strength, making the Bin Badger an essential tool for safe and efficient grain and material removal in confined or challenging environments.
